ALAIN MONTIGNY & NICOLAS DAVOUZE

Alain Montigny was born under a lucky star. This former student of the school in Christian Constant and Eric Fréchon has climbed the ladder to the top of gastronomy. Over the years, the rigour and refinement he brings to his culinary creations have been rewarded with prestigious prizes. Thus, he won the coveted title of Best Worker of France 2004, winning the brilliant first star award in the Michelin Guide four years later.

 

In 2018 he pushed for the first time the doors of the villa rue Jean-Honoré Carle to discover l’Oasis with Nicolas Davouze, Bocuse d’or France, an emblematic restaurant with infinite nuances and magic by nature. He became the Executive Chef of the three culinary addresses of the Domaine de Barbossi: L’Oasis, its Bistrot and Le Riviera Golf Restaurant.

It is a world entirely dedicated to the pleasure of the taste buds that blossoms between the starred restaurant, the Bistrot de l’Oasis and the pastry shop… So many ways to discover l’Oasis of the Domaine de Barbossi and to give in to temptation.

L’OASIS

It is in this small fishing village of La Napoule, nestled in the bay of Cannes, that Chefs Alain Montigny, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Nicolas Davouze, Bocuse d’Or France, chosen by Stéphane Raimbault to ensure his succession, invite you over the seasons in the flamboyant patio of an enchanting oasis.

The menu is rooted in the Mediterranean region, which does not forget the cult dishes of chefs Louis Outhier and Stéphane Raimbault. Under the soft foliage, in the porch of the winter garden, one comes and returns to leisure and pleasure, to the exciting discovery of an innovative cuisine. With more than 450 references in the vine cellar of the Oasis, Pascal Paulze, sommelier and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, gives the wine all of his nobility by the very fine selection on which he is constantly working.

The collection of paintings and sculptures focuses on contemporary art. The unique pieces by Jean-Franklin Koenig, Pierre Theunissen, Christian Glace, Gérard Le Roux, Michel Machu, Arman and Cesar contrast with the neo-classical style of the house.

Finalized in July 2017, the happy alliance of the Domaine de Barbossi and the Oasis was concretized by the birth of the Bistrot de l’Oasis which took up residence in the Hôtel de l’Ermitage. which offered him a magnificent room facing the Mediterranean and along the Riou. The place reinvents itself romantic, bright, friendly by offering a terrace overlooking the Riou and the sea. The place reinvents itself to be romantic and luxurious.

Breakfast, lunch, aperitif or dinner: from early morning to nightfall, the Bistrot de l’Oasis pampers its days according to the French Riviera agenda.
At the heart of this charming bistronomic restaurant, discover authentic and creative cuisine under the supervision of Chefs Alain Montigny, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Nicolas Davouze, Bocuse d’Or France, both chefs of our gastronomic restaurant OASIS, chosen by Stéphane Raimbault to succeed him. Every day, they share with you their passion and the know-how that drives our loyal teams. Our guests can also moor by boat to the Bistrot.

Only a few minutes from Cannes and the animation of the famous Croisette, the restaurant L’Arbre Jaune  offers a unique moment, in the heart of an oasis of calm and serenity.

Facing the Barbossi golf course and its greens nestled in the Esterel mountains, the restaurant offers Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, prepared daily with fresh products grown in the Domaine.

Family lunch, business dinners, a quick snack or just to enjoy a delicious cocktail in one of the most pleasant terraces of the French Riviera : our menu, suitable for all tastes, seduces by its freshness and creativity.

The Restaurant L’Arbre Jaune is open every day for lunch, (service provided until 2:30 p.m.) and for private events on the evening.
